surface testing to assess coating durability under outdoor exposure.

Surface Testing

The services of the Surface Testing laboratory unit, accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, include testing of the surface durability and dimensional stability of furniture, flooring, wall and ceiling elements.

They also cover the assessment of surface properties of lacquers and wall paints for both indoor and outdoor use.

Environmental simulation regarding climatic and light impact is carried out alongside evaluations of the electrostatic behaviour of floors.

Further tests address the reaction to fire of floor coverings, underlay materials and wall panels.

Such testing may involve the various material combinations.
