New and long-standing EPH representatives gathered at EPH
From March 19–21, the international representatives of the Entwicklungs- und Prüflabor Holztechnologie GmbH (EPH) met in Dresden for training and to exchange experiences. The two-day training session covered, among other topics, the new EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR), the IKEA used wood regulation “IKEA-IOS MAT 0010 v17,” the CARB/EPA formaldehyde program, the new EPH REACH FA Certification Program, an update on the “TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior Certification Program,” and the current requirements for GS certification of furniture. The 15 participants from 8 countries and 5 continents also gained practical insights during a tour of the EPH testing laboratory and exchanged their diverse experiences in individual and group discussions. For many years, the EPH network of its representatives has formed a stable and reliable foundation, both for the global acquisition of new customers and for conducting audits at manufacturers worldwide who wish to offer and distribute wood and wood-based materials, flooring, and other products on the EU internal market. The associated testing and certification services are performed exclusively at EPH in Dresden.
